Bio

Courtney Sheldon is a technology and organizational leader with over 15 years of experience aligning complex technical portfolios with strategic mission objectives. She builds the interdisciplinary teams and structures necessary to translate emerging research into high-impact operational capabilities, ensuring technical investments drive measurable value.

During her tenure at the National Security Agency, Ms. Sheldon held leadership positions, including deputy director of the Laboratory for Analytic Sciences. In this capacity, she provided organizational leadership for the lab’s daily operations and strategic planning, implementing governance and performance management systems to align technical investments with mission requirements. She also served as chief of a software development organization and as a regional technical liaison officer overseas. Her earlier career included engineering and leadership roles at Ford Motor Company and Harris Corporation.

Ms. Sheldon serves on the board of directors of a non-profit ballet theatre in Apex, NC, where she supports strategic growth and community engagement initiatives.
