The Technology, Tradecraft, Training and Transition effort is developing processes and tools to maximize the probability of a successful transition of LAS knowledge, outcomes, prototypes, models, etc. to a customer. This includes evaluating the current processes, identifying hurdles (technical and non-technical), and documenting lessons learned to create a transition process that include best practices, common development environments, and a greater understanding of Open Source transitions at LAS. For Training, LAS has a focused effort to research and apply innovation and modernization to improve training. This includes, but is not limited to, researching how AR/VR might improve or augment training, exploring how to effectively distribute “micro-training,” and hosting focused collaborative sessions, elements of design thinking courses, and information sharing workshops.

Connect With Us

LAS aims to bring together a multi-disciplinary group of academic, industry, and government researchers, analysts and managers together to re-engineer the intelligence analysis process to promote predictive analysis. LAS will do this by conducting both classified and unclassified research in a variety of areas of research. The research done in this area will serve as the foundation for mission effects and integrated back into the enterprise.
