Bio

Valerie Wehiong-Batta joined LAS in 2022 as university program associate, but she has been with NC State since 2015. Valerie is an experienced professional with a diverse educational and professional background in local and international environments. With a wealth of knowledge gained from studying, living and working in various countries, she has developed a global perspective as well as a deep understanding and appreciation for different cultures and ways of life. In addition to being fluent in both French and German, Valerie masters many other unexplored languages. A licensed and certified mediator, she is a vivid traveler and most definitely a proud mother of 4 amazing young people.
