Laboratory for Analytic Sciences

Abstract

In conjunction with the LAS exemplar on human trafficking, we’ll be viewing the 90-minute documentary “The Abolitionists,” which details Operation Underground Railroad (OUR) worldwide efforts to rescue children from human trafficking. The documentary, produced by Schindler’s List Gerald, R. Molen, provides valuable insight into how human trafficking networks operate and what can be done to eradicate them. The documentary includes live, unscripted footage of successful interdiction efforts, including the planning, execution, and aftercare phases. Please join us!

LAS aims to bring together a multi-disciplinary group of academic, industry, and government researchers, analysts and managers together to re-engineer the intelligence analysis process to promote predictive analysis. LAS will do this by conducting both classified and unclassified research in a variety of areas of research. The research done in this area will serve as the foundation for mission effects and integrated back into the enterprise.
