LAS brings together forward-looking academics, and established industry, small business and start-up partners to collaborate hand-in-hand with the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense mission partners, analysts, and researchers.  Together, these teams envision, research and create common analytic tools, tradecraft, and methodologies that further the art and science of analysis.  This event will showcase LAS’s collaborative initiatives in big data analytics, analysis, and tradecraft.

The Symposium is open to government employees, academics and industry partners with an interest in learning more about the Lab’s work in analytic tradecraft and big data analytics.
The attached agenda includes briefings, panels and presentation that highlight LAS’s 2016 research results and describe its 2017 research areas.  Senator Richard Burr, (R-NC), Chairman, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence will provide the Keynote Address.  A no-host social, in celebration of LAS’s 3rd Anniversary is also planned.

Please register here for this event no later than November 18, 2016.

LAS aims to bring together a multi-disciplinary group of academic, industry, and government researchers, analysts and managers together to re-engineer the intelligence analysis process to promote predictive analysis. LAS will do this by conducting both classified and unclassified research in a variety of areas of research. The research done in this area will serve as the foundation for mission effects and integrated back into the enterprise.
