LAS Collaborators Day formally kicks-off the planning cycle for our current and future academic and industry partners interested in working with the LAS in 2020. To help prepare for this event, the LAS is excited to release a description of planned activities for 2020 linked below in our Call for White Papers. This document highlights our current plan for the LAS Research Areas in 2020 and we hope serves as a resource ahead of Collaborators Day and your submission of a white paper(s).

James B. Hunt Jr. Library - Parking

Note: Due to the construction of Fitts-Woolard Hall, Partners Way is closed just beyond the Poulton Deck (which is open).

The James B. Hunt Jr. Library is located on Centennial Campus.  Hourly parking is available in the following lots:

Parking fees are $2/hour. Parking spots are numbered, and there is a pay station that accepts debit and credit cards only (no cash).

How To Obtain Your VIRTUAL Event Permit
  1. Visit Go.ncsu.edu/EventParking
  2. Select “Purchase Event Permit”
  3. Agree to the Terms of Service
  4. Select “Centennial Campus Events”
  5. Select “6/12 2019 LAS Collaborators Day”
  6. When prompted enter LAScollab1 as the Event Voucher Code. The code is case sensitive and must be entered exactly as shown. Click Confirm.
  7. Select Permit Type
  8. Select/Confirm your parking dates. Click Confirm.
  9. Select Location — Oval West Deck (enter from the intersection of Main Campus Drive and Research Drive)
  10. Click “Add Vehicle.” Enter vehicle license plate, state, year and make. Click Add.
  11. Review information entered for accuracy and click continue.
  12. Enter email address to receive, confirmation of parking permit. Click Checkout.
    Remember, the permit is virtual, your license plate is your permit. Permit is valid only for the vehicle entered. Permit is not valid in paid parking locations.
Are you driving a rental car? If so, please wait to obtain your parking permit until after you have received your rental car. Vehicle license plates cannot be changed once entered. You must obtain your parking permit before leaving your vehicle unattended on campus.

LAS aims to bring together a multi-disciplinary group of academic, industry, and government researchers, analysts and managers together to re-engineer the intelligence analysis process to promote predictive analysis. LAS will do this by conducting both classified and unclassified research in a variety of areas of research. The research done in this area will serve as the foundation for mission effects and integrated back into the enterprise.
